The War Within PvP Talent Builds for Fury Warrior in Arena
Slayer - Odyn's Fury Fury Warrior
3.
Slayer - Raging Blow Fury Warrior
Slayer Fury Warrior is focused on delivering high sustained damage, doing overwhelmingamounts of pressure until the enemy falls over. The amount of damage this build can push outis very strong and easily one of the better builds of this season on the melee spectrum.
There are several talents in the Fury Warrior tree that you will want to changeregularly based on matchups, which are:
- Wrecking Throw / Shattering Throw: This node comes down to whether ornot the enemy has magical immunities, such as Divine Shield or Ice Block. If they do, pick Shattering Throw, otherwise use Wrecking Throw for shieldbreaking, and if the enemy team has none of both, simply skip this node and pick somethingelse in the talent tree.
- Anger Management / Reckless Abandon: The largest increase to your damagehere is Anger Management.
- Ravager / Bladestorm: Always pick Bladestorm for the immunityto crowd control and uptime it provides you.
- Berserker Shout / Piercing Howl: Both are situational and really powerful. You shoulddefault to Piercing Howl, but choose Berserker Shout in situations where you can break fears withcooldowns on your healer, such as Intimidating Shout or Psychic Scream, reliably, or if you're confidentyou will have full uptime on your target.
Be sure to make use of the 'Copy Export String' button to import thebest build directly into your game!
You can choose 3 of the following PvP talents; each has its uses, but someare better for certain strategies than others. As Fury Warrior, your choices are limited as you will be running the mandatoryPvP talent almost every match.
3.1.
Mandatory PvP Talents
Slaughterhouse gives Fury Warrior its healing reduction effect. This effect can be powerful but, in general, hard to keep up. It should stillalways be picked up if your composition does not have access to a healing reductioneffect. This ability counts as a Mortal Wounds effect, and because the game only uses the highest value, other effects in this category will overwrite it, such as Mortal Strikeand Wound Poison from other classes.
Other healing reduction effects that fall out of this category do not, however, like Fel Fissure or Necrotic Wound.
Battlefield Commander lost a lot of power with the nerfs and no longer rootsthrough Piercing Howl. It's still a strong pick if you have Thunderous Roar talented.
3.2.
Situational PvP Talents
Master and Commander got buffed and has become much stronger when pairedtogether with Battlefield Commander. You can use this as an additionaldefensive cooldown, or as a root breaker for cooldowns like Mass Entanglement+ Solar Beam.
Bloodrage lets you have higher uptime on enemies than most othermelee specializations. This ability will give you a much easier time stickingto targets, with only a small negative effect tied to it.
Safeguard is a very strong talent that provides an additional wallfor your team, in addition to slightly more short-term mobility for you.
Enduring Rage received a rework and can be a nice addition againstcompositions that have an easy time shutting you down, allowing you a quickburst window to catch back up.
Battle Trance provides yougreat sustained healing and extra Rage to work toward more Rampageattacks.
Disarm has a short cooldown and can completely ruin the damage ofweapon-based classes likeFrost DK orSubtlety Rogue. This ability caneven be used offensively vs. specializations that require weapons for theirdefensives, such as stopping an Arms Warrior from using Die by the Sword or a Death Knight from using Death Strike.
